Holy cow, I can't believe its been over a month since I posted here. Will update with more regularity!

The Dark Knight

Yup. Sure was dark. Had a lot of fun with this one and it was the best movie I have seen all summer in the theatre.

so today i set up my first blog. i have never had one before and i am already enjoying it immensely. today i also finished Forgotten Allies by Joseph T. Glathaar and James Kirby Martin which was a good book. Current reading list: Book of Lost Tales Vol. 1 by JRR Tolkien (almost through this one), Europe after Rome: A New Cultural History 500-1000 by Julia Smith (haven't started), The Mammoth Book of British Kings and Queens by Mike Ashley (in the first couple hundred pages), and Beowulf translated by Seamus Heaney (read, but I am learning Old English so that I can read it in the original). Will probably put this all on hold once the summer comes to an end.
